LHC are a public sector organisation who set-up and manage one of the largest procurement programmes for building components and services in the UK.The purpose of the LHC is:

“by means of partnership arrangements for products and services, and in the provision of up to date technical expertise, service and advice, to help public sector bodies and social landlords nationally in their projects for the construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of buildings, and in this way to act as an extension of the user’s office.”

LHC sets up partnership arrangements with manufacturers of building products and with specialist contractors and service providers. There are currently 15 such LHC arrangements and MILA Maintenance Division have been the providers of the Window and Door Maintenance Programme since 1995. In 1999 MILA Maintenance Division were awarded the inaugural “LHC Partner of the Year” Award.
