Fear Free doors - secure, attractive, low maintenance, high performance external doors suitable for all types of housing.

The Fear Free door features a patented Phenolic Foam core surrounded by a laminated timber sub-frame. The door surface is manufactured from glass reinforced polyester resin which is both formed and bonded to the core in a one-step pressing action. This takes place while the resins are still in liquid form ensuring a monolithic structure and providing a mechanical as well as a chemical bond - thereby preventing any possibility of delamination and increasing skin toughness.

The unique manufacturing process and construction of Fear Free doors means that they require very little or no maintenance. An occasional wipe-down with a cloth and any mild detergent will keep Fear Free doors looking like new. What's more, the surface is so deeply ingrained that even the harshest solvents will not damage the surface. Even if scratched Fear Free doors can be repaired with a light sanding and polishing, the perfect grain will reappear just like wood.

Fear Free doors have been subjected to the most rigorous security tests withstanding battering and attempted forced entry. Unlike a number of composite doors currently available the Fear Free core is fire resistant achieving a 30 minute fire rating.
